Hey all,

I'm what you might call a newbie to The Meters. It's only been three years or so since I even knew about them, but they are now one of my favorite bands, if not number one.

And now I'm going to see them, the original lineup, live!! I can't tell you how jazzed I am. I never believed that they would get back together, but ever since that day three years ago, I hoped I would see a Meters show. And they're gonna be right in my backyard! WOO-HOO! Figures I didn't even know about the show until the day before, but as luck would have it I saw a blurb in the LA Weekly today and went right to the Hollywood Bowl website for tickets. Section E, baby!

Can't wait till tomorrow and see y'all there! Yowza!!
